This graphic aims to convince its audience to buy locally grown food instead of chain store foods. A possible audience would be residents of northeast Ohio or anyone considering the pros and cons of
buying local products. The picture uses ethos since it is a local farm which is giving the information, logos because the information is factual, and pathos because it invokes patriotism. The patriotism is a result of making the audience feel like buying locally will benefit the community through the economy and environment. The media is picture/text based while the mode is digital. The design makes it flow easily so that the audience can easily follow what the info graphic is telling them. The colors stand out against each other so that it is easy to read, and the colors make it look appealing. This picture could be turned into a podcast by further discussing with voice the information given. The podcast could make the info graphic more persuasive through tone, and a podcast could incorporate more authority on the issue. It could also be turned into a YouTube video which could use the same elements as the picture and podcast; furthermore, it could make the argument more persuasive with video elements, like seeing local farmers.
