Update on Project #1

On the first project, I am writing about the pop culture icon Lin Manuel Miranda. I am analyzing his twitter since he seems to answer questions people ask him, update followers on his every day life, and he talks about his career. The messages he tweets makes Miranda seem like he genuinely cares about his fans and wants to hear their thoughts and ideas. Next I will analyze his songs and career as a composer between Hamilton, Moana, and Freestyle Love Supreme. Finally, I want to look at his acting career between In the Heights as well as Hamilton since he received Best Lead Actor in a Musical in the Tony Awards for both musicals. I am using an outline to organize my project because it helps me decide what to write about, and after I have written an outline, I feel like all I need to do is fill in with sentences. I like most that I get to write about someone I like and the aspects of his life which I would not have looked into otherwise. The biggest struggle for me has been thinking about how I can narrow down such broad topics, like how to analyze the music in Hamilton and Moana. However, I think I can put songs into the music type and organize them that way.
